Do you have friends or family wanting to support you as you ride Gear Up Girl? Or perhaps you are looking for a way to meet new people and support cycling in Sydney? The answer is simple – volunteer for Gear Up Girl!
Around 800 Bicycle NSW volunteers assist with their skills, time and enthusiasm for all Bicycle NSW events throughout the year. Gear Up Girl 2014 is no exception and it will see 180 wonderful volunteers make it all happen.

Volunteer Roles include Route Marshaling, Site Assistants at all start, finish and rest stops, ride crew bike mechanics and logistics assistants. Shift lengths vary from around 3 – 7 hours long so there really is a volunteer role for everyone. All Gear Up Girl volunteers will receive;

- Bicycle NSW Volunteer T-shirt
- Hat
- Exclusive bag for volunteers
- Sun cream
- Individual job description
- Event information pack with everything you need to know!
